Where you complete the booking
Booking through one of our links forms a contract between you and Viator, GetYourGuide or the tour operator, concluded on their site under their terms. Tickets, the trip itself, payment, changes, cancellations and refunds are their responsibility.
About the amounts shown
Each price here is a starting price in whole dollars, rounded up or down to the closest dollar. When a platform quotes in another currency, we convert at the European Central Bank's reference rate, which is near but never exact. The only binding price and open dates are those the booking platform shows before you pay.
How far to trust our information
We verify what we publish and name our sources. Still, sailing times, meeting points, menus, routes and rules are set by operators and authorities and can change without notice, and weather, sea state, events or an operator's decision can alter or cancel a trip. Read the listing you book in full before paying.
The calculators and checklists
The calculators, checklists, decision helpers, charts, planners and maps exist to help you plan. Whatever they add up or recommend is an estimate and neither an offer nor a promise.
How this site makes money
Trip links are affiliate links: when you book through one, Viator or GetYourGuide pays us a commission and your price stays the same. Which trips we feature is decided by us alone.

The edge of our responsibility
Use of this site costs nothing. We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and harm to life, body or health. In every other case we are liable only for the breach of an essential duty, and then only for typically foreseeable damage.
Which law, and later changes
German law governs. A consumer living abroad also keeps the mandatory consumer protection of their home country. These conditions can be updated, and the version online on the day you visit is the one that counts.
